Integrity Accepts the Keys to Westside Works Building as the New Managing Partner

On October 10th, Arthur Blank of the Blank Foundation handed over keys for the new Westside Works building to Integrity Transformations Community Development Corporation, managing partner of the Westside Works job training facility. The workforce development partnership has placed more than 350 Westside residents in living-wage jobs since it opened 2.5 years ago.

Three of the five training partners will occupy the new building which is located at 261 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd., on the corner of Lowery Blvd and Rock St. The Construction Education Foundation of Georgia (CEFGA) trains residents on construction ready principles, and New Hope Enterprises provides Certified Nursing Assistant, Microsoft Office Operations and soft skills programs.

Integrity Transformations Community Development Corporation anchors Westside Works as the managing partner, leading the organization by enhancing client relations, managing all aspects of building operations, reporting performance metrics and  acting as fiscal agent for the program  Integrity will also continue to recruit and orient  westside residents who desire job training into the program.

Rev. Beckham, CEO of Integrity Transformations, stated, “There is no greater time than right now for the efforts of the City of Atlanta, the Blank Foundation and Invest Atlanta to come to fruition with opening of our new facility. We hope that its presence will signal to residents that community empowerment can and will happen via workforce development.”

The new facility is now open for business. Rev. Beckham welcomes all area residents who are interested in improving their lives to stop by the new facility.  The staff is available to assist you in filling out your application from 9 to 4, Monday through Friday.
