Success Story: Antwan Moss

Antwan Moss was working a low-paying job when he came across an opportunity to get a better job.

Antwan first heard of Integrity in 2018, when he met an Integrity staff member at a probation office, who then recruited him. Three years later, he got a call from a case manager about the NET program. Even though Antwan was content in his job, he wanted to earn a higher income, so he took part in the NET program. “The soft skills training with Mr. Walter, that will get you acclimated to actually going to interviews and knowing how to present yourself. I learned a lot.”

After graduating from the NET program, Antwan saw a flier for Integrity’s new Forklift Operator Training Program and decided he wanted to enroll. Not only does the Forklift Operator Training Program place participants with background-friendly jobs, but participants also earn 4 certifications, which makes them more employable. “It’s wonderful. It makes it easier to actually find a job once I had some type of skills.”

Antwan was one of the first graduates from the Forklift Operator Training Program and has now obtained gainful employment as a forklift operator. “I would highly recommend it, especially if you’re a person coming out of jail or prison.”
